Shirley A. Wolcott, age 74, of North Tonawanda, passed away on March 27, 2012, following an extended illness. Mrs. Wolcott was born on April 3, 1937, daughter of the late John and Frances Moore.

Mrs. Wolcott attended local schools. She was head cashier for Twin Fair Stores and then for the Value Home Center. Mrs. Wolcott was a life-member of Payne Ave. Christian Church and a former member of the Order of the Amaranth. Her hobbies included camping, embroidery, crocheting and knitting.

Beloved wife of Cecil W. Wolcott of North Tonawanda; beloved mother of Susan L. (Aaron) Lyon of North Carolina; loving grandmother of Sandra S. Szewczuk and Jennifer M. (Mark) Doyle; sister of Norma (Wayne) Schaeffer, Beatrice (Marvin) Tooke, late Arlene Bell, late June Zacher, late Ronnie Walker and late Robert Reinbolt; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday from 7-9 PM and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Jerry McGlone officiating. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice House or Payne Ave. Christian Church.
